During the 3D scan, we create a digital model of your jaws using a high-end 3D scanner. This only takes a few minutes and is completely painless. With this scan data, our dental technicians and our team of dentists will create your treatment plan – and your Aligners.

By the way, at your second appointment we will show you how your teeth will move into the new position step by step with the help of a 3D simulation.

Our Night Aligner can close small tooth gaps and correct minor misalignments. At your first appointment, our expert dentists will tell you whether you are a candidate for the Night Aligner treatment.

Our aligners can correct mild to moderate cases of misaligned teeth, ranging from tooth gaps to crooked teeth and overbites. At your first appointment, our expert dentists will tell you whether you are a candidate for the aligner treatment.

Yes, our clear braces can also close gaps between teeth. Our expert dentists will tell you if the desired teeth correction is possible in your case.

Attachments are small, tooth-coloured composite buttons that are bonded to your teeth. This allows your aligners to exert more pressure on the teeth. Attachments are used for more complex malocclusions, are hardly noticeable and are removed after treatment.

Attachments cost CHF 400 per jaw.

During your free consultation appointment, our dentists will tell you whether they are necessary for your treatment.

bestsmile has a very high success rate, but we cannot guarantee that the outcome will match 100% the predicted result.

For best results, wear your aligners 22 hours a day.

If after treatment your end result does not match the predicted result shown on the treatment plan, you will receive further aligners free of charge – until you are happy with the result.

The bestsmile Aligner treatment is suitable for individuals aged 16 and over. If you are under 18, we require a written declaration of consent from your parents or legal guardian before your first appointment.

Our clear braces are not suitable for children and teenagers under 16, as tooth and jaw development is still ongoing.

There are no known health risks associated with the bestsmile Aligner treatment.

Usually not. During pregnancy, hormonal changes take place that would affect your gums and therefore your treatment. Furthermore, taking X-rays during pregnancy is not recommended due to radiation exposure.
