Lingual technique
This method of teeth straightening is similar to fixed braces (multibracket appliance). With the lingual technique, brackets are attached to the inner surface of the teeth to fix the wires.
Lingual means near or next to the tongue. Unlike the multibracket appliance, the brackets are not visible because they are attached to the inner surface of the teeth. Apart from that, lingual braces are made in the same way as conventional fixed braces.
