Brackets
Brackets are glued to the outer surface of the teeth to attach the multibracket appliance.
Brackets are visible every time patients open their mouth, for example when smiling or speaking. Patients therefore often suffer from the unaesthetic appearance of braces. The advantage of fixed braces is that patients cannot forget them and can therefore achieve very good treatment results. Brackets are also used in the Begg technique as well as the Edgewise technique.
